Over the course of nearly 400 years, Boston has been plagued by some of history’s most nefarious figures, including Jolly Jane, Dr. John Webster, Cotton Mather, The Angel of Death, The Boston Strangler and a slew of other sinister characters. As you ride the “Trolley of the Doomed”, your ghoulish guides will make you shiver with fright as they tell you the sordid details of the gruesome tortures, macabre murders and inhumane executions that took place at sites across the city.

Your tour also includes exclusive nighttime access to several of Boston’s most haunted places. You’ll have the opportunity to walk amongst the dead in unmarked burying grounds, peer inside a decrepit charnel house containing the jumbled bones of hundreds of forgotten souls and venture to the site of the biggest grave robbing scandal in New England’s history.

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy:

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

  • This tour is rated PG; no children under the age of 6 are permitted.
  • Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • This tour requires some walking; please be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

No, you must call at least 48 hours in advance to secure the date and time for your reservation. Details will be provided in your E-Ticket.

Is the tour too scary for my kids?
The stories of Boston's darker side do cover some pretty frightening subject matter, so the tour has a PG-13 rating. Children under the age of 13 should only join if their parents feel they can handle the subject matter without getting too frightened. Children ages 3 and under are not permitted on this tour.

Is the tour handicapped accessible?
Reasonable accommodations for all disabled guests will be made. Please call at least 48 hours in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made (details will be provided in your E-Ticket). Unfortunately, because a significant portion of the tour takes place in historic burying grounds that do not have any accommodations for people with disabilities (as historic sites, they are exempt from such requirements), and include stairs, cobblestones, and other types of rough terrain, the tour is not recommended for those who are unable to safely navigate such elements.
