Choose from any of our 16 stops with over 100 points of interest. Once aboard, enjoy a two hour narrated tour or hop on and off at all the stops along the route. The ticket includes unlimited use.

Sit back and relax for an insider’s view of Boston on these San Francisco style trolley cars. The Beantown Trolley is the only trolley with direct service to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Seaport District.

And, you receive a free bonus tour - either a sightseeing harbor cruise (usually from May through October) or a visit to the Mapparium at the Mary Baker Eddy Library (usually from November through April).

You have the option of purchasing tickets valid for either One Day or Two Days.

Trolley departs every 30 minutes April through December. January through March, the trolley departs every hour.

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Special Schedule Notes

  • In January & February, the trolley will operate between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm and will not operate on Thursdays. However, if you purchase a 2-day ticket that includes a Thursday, there is a motorcoach (enclosed bus) tour available on Thursday.
  • Tour does not operate on April 15.
  • Tour stops operating at 3:00 pm on July 4.
  • Tour does not operate on Thanksgiving.
